Just when you thought we were done discovering new species, here's the latest. It looks like Ridley Scott's Alien!

Thankfully, they're tiny. At least, for the next few million years, before they finally evolve into giant versions of what you're looking at.

They are Liropus minusculus, a new species of skeleton shrimp discovered in California's Catalina Island by a team led by University of Seville's José Manuel Guerra-García. They measure between three to four centimeters long.
