Microsoft's Surface tablets have been a flop and a dud. But even with poor reception, Nokia is hoping that their Lumia 2520, 10.1 inch tablet will be able to pick up the pace of Windows tablets. It will also compete with the new Surface 2 tablet.

It has a 1920x1080 resolution display running on a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Windows RT 8.1.

There is a 6.7 megapixel camera with ZEISS optics and on the front is a 2.2 megapixel wide-angle HD camera for video conferencing or selfies.

Wireless connectivity is also up-to-date with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC and A-GPS/GLONASS. Oh, and there's a built-in 4G LTE antenna.

The 2520 sounds pretty impressive already, but we've still yet to see it physically/

The Nokia Lumia 2520 will be available for $499 in Q4 in black, glossy red, white and cyan. Check it out in the video below:
