iOS 7 came with a lot of changes, and some people claimed they even got sick watching the animations on it. The reason for that could be because those animations fly at you at some 17 miles per hour!

John Herman and Jake Levy over at Buzzfeed took a look at some of the physics behind iOS 7 animations, The animations move at you at an imaginary start point of 5.33 feet away. It takes 0.8 seconds to reach you and they calculated it to be 4.5 miles per hour.

The tiny icons inside a folder look like they're 19.29 feet away. Zooming in to a folder takes 0.8 seconds which means that the folder flies toward your face at an average speed of 16.4 miles per hour. Buzzfeed estimates its top speed at over 20 miles per hour. No wonder people are getting sick looking at it.
