Most of us get a cold two or three times a year. This isn’t a sign that your fitness or health is poor. Our immune systems are designed to cope with lots of different bugs and viruses. Normally, it leaps into action and we’re over our cold in just a couple of days or so. Some people seem to struggle to shake that groggy feeling we get with a cold, though. Regular pain in your mouth is unpleasant and very distracting. But many of us are too busy to deal with what could be a serious sign of poor health. Dry skin is a common complaint for those who suffer from asthma. It may be a hereditary condition, or it could be a sign that your health isn’t in great shape. You may be dehydrated. This can cause problems with your kidney and even your cognitive function. Dry skin can also be a sign you are in an environment that could be detrimental to your health too. Excess weathering or dry, stuffy offices can cause these problems. It can also be a sign of thyroid dysfunction.

A headache is a symptom of many illnesses, including the common cold. But it can also be a sign of stress, especially if the pain is in the temple area. Stress can wreak havoc on our bodies. The immune system can suffer, and even the health of our hearts are at risk. Stress also affects our ability to sleep well. Over time, this can become dangerous to our health too. If your headaches continue for several days without relief, make an appointment with your doctor.

Out Of Breath

Most of us would get out of breath walking up several flights of stairs. But if you’re out of breath just tackling one, you may be in poor health. Excess weight can add exertion and pressure on our respiratory system too. Breathlessness accompanied by a blue tinge in the fingernails or lips should not be ignored. If you smoke, it’s definitely time to quit if you regularly become out of breath. Increase your level of activity gradually to improve your fitness. Your doctor can advise a good plan of exercise.

Tiredness

Fatigue, lethargy, and tiredness are all signs your health needs some extra care and attention. Poor diet is often the first cause of such symptoms. Sleep apnea could be another cause that requires medical attention. A lack of physical fitness can also make you feel worn out after a modicum of activity.
