Ferrari's 458 Italia is set to get an upgrade as the Italian automaker revealed the upcoming 458 Speciale ahead of next month's IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt.

The new 458 boasts aerodynamic modifications throughout its streamlined exterior while a Side Slip Angle Control system prevents slippage using torque management optimization.

The aerodynamic flaps at both the front and rear adjust to balance the downforce and reduce drag as needed. The 458 Speciale is motivated by a V8 4.5 liter engine capable of 605 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque.

The 458 Speciale is not only more powerful, but faster, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in around three seconds. Check out some pictures below, and wait for its big reveal on September 10.
