Honda has released the first visual of the revised Civic hatchback, which is set to compete in the 2014 World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).
For the 2014 WTCC season, two works cars will be run by JAS
Motorsport for Gabriele Tarquini and Tiago Monteiro, while further
Civics will be entered by private teams Zengo Motorsport and Proteam
Racing for Hungary’s Norbert Michelisz and Moroccan Mehdi Bennani
respectively.
This new model will reflect the all-new technical regulations for the FIA WTCC that will come into effect next season. The updated body work includes different wheel arch extensions for the larger diameter wheels and extended rear spoiler.
There's also definitely going to be more power under the hood, although Honda has yet to release any details. So stay tuned for more news in the near future.
