Here's the first look at the production Jaguar F-Type Coupe. It will receive its world premiere on 19th November at the Los Angeles auto show. The automaker is also set to display it at the Tokyo Motor Show on November 20.
The production variant is based on the C-X16 Concept and will join existing convertible models in Jaguar's range. They will likely share their engine range comprising of a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 in 335hp and 375hp outputs and a 488hp supercharged V8 paired to an eight speed automatic.
Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar, commented: “The excitement generated when we revealed the C-X16 concept was terrific; so to now be on the cusp of what I can assure you will be a drama-filled reveal event in Los Angeles for F-TYPE Coupé is a very significant moment.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive reaction to F-TYPE Convertible, but for me the purity of creating a sports Coupé is a uniquely satisfying process – and I know that both visually and dynamically, F-TYPE Coupé raises the bar yet again.”
