Learning to drive in Sierra Leone involves playing a board game. Say what? Wannabe motorists have to commit to playing a custom board game for several months. It packs in the rules of the road and combines Monopoly, Snakes and Ladders and Scrabble.

The game will feature trivia questions that quiz potential drivers on everything from what signage means what to basic driving etiquette.  Not a bad way to learn the rules of the road actually. Would you rather play this game or read it out from a manual instead?
