YG Entertainment has officially denied the rumour of 2NE1's disbandment.

The rumour broke out when fans spotted Minzy deleting the '21' from her Instagram ID 'minzy21mz' and '2NE1' from the description on Twitter accounts, which soon led to everyone to assume that the group would disband soon. Even though she later added back '2NE1' into her description but the rumour's still spreading around.

On October 17th, YG Entertainment came out with an official statement about the rumour,"This is an absurd rumour. There's nothing wrong with 2NE1' activities. They're currently in Macau for their schedules. They will make their return as 2NE1 soon".

The company also commented on Park Bom,"She participated in the YG Family concert last August and other overseas concerts because those were scheduled beforehand. 2NE1 can't have a proper stage without Park Bom. However, she is restraining from all the domestic activities as she's talking some times for self-reflection. Please continue showing your support until they make their comeback"

Meanwhile, CL will make her American solo debut and will be managed by Scooter Braun.
