Marisa is an intelligent and hard working single mother who is very determined to succeed in living her son a better life than the one she had.
She works long hours as a maid at the Bereford luxury hotel in Manhattan in order to provide for the 10 year old son.
One day one of her colleagues convinces her to put on a dress of one of the hotel’s clients and just as she finished dressing up two persons come in: her son and handsome Christopher, a candidate to the United States Senate.
He thinks she is a hotel guest and she does not deny it; the chemistry between them is too strong and they ignore all the other aspects.
In the middle of their love, the mistaken identities and the first page gossip articles, the two realize that the bigger their dreams are, the bigger the number of opportunities one will have to make them true.
