Seeing as she's already played a warrior goddess in Marvel's Thor, Jaimie Alexander would be perfect to take on the Wonder Woman role.
The actress is currently in talks with DC and Warner Bros to be featured in the highly anticipated Batman/Superman film. She confirmed this during the AMC Movie Talk panel at Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles this past weekend, where she also shared her thoughts on Wonder Woman to Forbes:
I’m a huge fan of Wonder Woman. I really think if this is the closest that we’re ever going to get to Wonder Woman, then I’m proud to play Sif. I hope that other comic book entities can learn a lesson from Marvel in how to execute a female character the way it should be done. ... I really would like to one day see a Wonder Woman film or Wonder Woman character, but until it’s done with class, I’d rather it not be done.
Of course, this is all mere speculation. Other rumors claim that Jaimie Alexander could end up just playing as Batman's love interest. Here's crossing our fingers that it involves dressing up as Wonder Woman.
