Tom Hardy Replaces Fassbender in 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy'

Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Ralph Fiennes and Michael Fassbender are slated to star in John Le Carre's spy novel: Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. The Daily Mail (via The Playlist) reports Tom Hardy (Inception, Bronson) has replaced Fassbender in the film. Set in the aftermath of the cold war, the thriller (called a "breathtakingly ordinary" sort of anti-James Bond) tells the tale of a big spy hunt within the highest echelons of the British Secret Intelligence Service.
It’s hard to find a person who didn’t like 2012’s Dredd, a film that stands alongside RoboCop as the ultra-violent, dystopic film fans needed at the time, but a sequel to the movie hasn’t been forthcoming; in fact, over the past few years, the likelihood of a second outing for Olivia Thirlby and Karl Urban’s chin has hovered around zero.
