Christopher Nolan's new film Inception is anything but clear on what its about. The movie is stocking up on some high profile actors. Ken Watanabe is playing the villain, and then there's Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy and Leonardo DiCaprio and Marion Cotillard.
The official synopsis is this, "A CEO-type becomes involved in a blackmailing scandal." We believe that Leo is the boss and the scandal involves some sort of brain-mapping, mind-recording science — at least that squares with the vague reports about the film dabbling with "the architecture of the mind."
It’s hard to find a person who didn’t like 2012’s Dredd, a film that stands alongside RoboCop as the ultra-violent, dystopic film fans needed at the time, but a sequel to the movie hasn’t been forthcoming; in fact, over the past few years, the likelihood of a second outing for Olivia Thirlby and Karl Urban’s chin has hovered around zero.
