Final Destination Trailer Thwarts Evolutionary Cull At NASCAR

Hey, there's a new one of those Final Destination movies, because... why not? This time, a much-needed thinning of the herd is stopped by some psychic kid. Don't worry, death will right this wrong.
The Final Destination is about the same thing all the other Destination movies: writers desperately searching for new and more creative ways to kill people. Remember the exploding vodka computer with the knives? (Although actually, I liked that flick). The series has started to seem very Mouse Trap-meets-Real World, and the latest is no exception.
The one thing it does have going for it is terrible 3-D. So we can pretty much predict that everyone is going to die by having something launched at their heads. The film will be out on August 28th.
It’s hard to find a person who didn’t like 2012’s Dredd, a film that stands alongside RoboCop as the ultra-violent, dystopic film fans needed at the time, but a sequel to the movie hasn’t been forthcoming; in fact, over the past few years, the likelihood of a second outing for Olivia Thirlby and Karl Urban’s chin has hovered around zero.
