We may not know who's going to be wearing the ring and tights yet, but now we know where and when Green Lantern will be filmed... and how much it'll cost.
Warner Bros. announced yesterday that the movie adaptation of Green Lantern' space cop opera will start filming at Fox Studios Australia in Sydney, New South Wales this November. The movie, to be directed by Casino Royale's Martin Campbell from a script co-written by Eli Stone's Marc Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti and Kings creator Michael Green, reportedly has a budget of $150 million - making it more expensive than Marvel's Iron Man 2 and on a par with Watchmen's production spend. All they need now is a star.
Green Lantern is aimed at a December 2010 release.
