Ladies take note. Women who bed other women's husbands are no longer the stereotypical lonely skanks who are desperate for love or money, or in need of much male attention. Adulteresses of today are independent, successful, and beautiful women. Yes it makes life harder on most wives because nobody wants to envision their husband getting along a bit too well with his colleague or best female friend and later ending up in bed with them. Worse, a wife may never find out.
A new survey of over 800 women has found that the women under 55 and the ones over 80 were the most satisfied with their sex lives. And that satisfaction didn't necessarily correlate to high desire. Study co-author Elizabeth Barrett-Connor tells ScienceDaily: "Approximately half of the women aged 80 years or more reported arousal, lubrication, and orgasm most of the time, but rarely reported sexual desire." And overall, "only 1 in 5 sexually active women reported high sexual desire."
