Commemorating the 50th anniversary of being the first Swiss timepiece in space, the latest release from TAG Heuer is based on a modified Heuer 2915A stopwatch worn by astronaut John Glenn in 1962. Deemed the Carrera 1887 “SpaceX”, features include custom hands on a white dial with anthracite colored markings. The in-house 1887 calibre will be made visible through the smoked-sapphire display case back. Finishing it off is a distressed, perforated brown leather strap. Available from October and limited to 2,012 units. Retail for $5,800 USD.
