C3H5N3O9 is the brainchild of Felix Baumgartner and Maximilian Büsser and here is their latest chronograph in the form of the Experiment ZR012.
Inspired by the Wankel engine, it features orbital Releaux polygon rotors rather than the reciprocating pistons that power majority of our cars and engines today.
It also includes a 60 component titanium case with zirconium lugs, 42 jewel movement and water-resistance up to 30 meters. The C3H5N3O9 Experiment ZR012 Watch will retail at select outlets for $114,000 USD.
