2012 is the 40th anniversary of Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak choronograph. The time piece has grown into an icon since 1972, and to celebrate it, the brand has taken the watch on a global tour.
The video after the jump showcases the Swiss manufacturer lifting the curtai on the updated concept and the preparation of the Royal Oak launch event at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City. Other events expected to run in cities including Milan, Paris, Beijing, Singapore and Dubai.
