Concepts and New Balance introduce their latest sneaker project which takes its inspirations from none other than John F. Kennedy.
The fallen president's love of sailing forms the basis of the sneaker's design, with the use of sailing flags used as a motif inside the liner. Different materials also occupy the upper such as ripstop nylon, suede and mesh. These highly anticipated kicks were even featured on the front cover for Sneaker Freaker's 20th issue. Slated to drop soon on March 2011.
The Air Max 1 is surely one of Nike's most timeless design examples. Three decades later and it still looks good. While it has seen some systematic changes in recent times, this time it receives a change in collar height and a colorway in black and gray camo.
