The Japanese may have peculiar aesthetic when it comes to err... everything. But you have to admit that, more often than not, it works. Understanding thier sense of fashion, however, takes some getting-used-to.

Now Japanese export to the international fashion scene, as of now, can be counted with two hands. Junya Watanabe and Rei Kawakubo are among the most prominent. The former, who used to be the protege of Comme des Garcons - a French label headed by the latter - is now teaming up with the latter for winter 2009 collection. Confused? Oh, me too.

This editorial spread is taken from a Japanese magazine, hopefully making it easier for all of us as to how to pull off Junya and Comme look without looking like a crazy man.
