Imagine this, you're high on alcohol and cocaine as you partied the night away. And by the time the night ends, you're in the arms of a beautiful stranger, in a cheap hotel somewhere in town. You don't remember anything when you wake up in the morning as you gather your underwear and stumble out of the hotel. A month later, you get a call from this unknown woman who tells you that you've impregnated her and holds you responsible.

Sounds like a nightmare, doesn't it?

Well, that's a nightmare that many young adults are willing to risk having. Many teens and young adults in Europe have turned to drinking alcohol and taking recreational drugs for sexual purposes. In a survey that involved 1,300 people who are regular nightlife- goers, a third of males and a quarter of females aged 16 to 35 drink alcohol to increase their chances of sex. Drugs such as cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis were used to enhance sexual arousal or prolong sex.

However, it was reported that most of them had feelings of regret about having sex while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Multiple sex partners and unprotected sex came hand in hand with those who misused alcohol or drugs as their social lubricant.

Well, I'm sure we all know that moderation is the key to everything. What's the point of getting drunk if you won't remember a thing after the night is over? What kind of pleasure is that anyway? I tell you these people are missing out on the greatest thing in life if they're polluting their systems with drugs and alcohol just to get some action going. Although, it is impressive that the guys are able to snag five girls in a week.

That being said, alcohol rocks!
