DIY Solar-Powered Battery Charger Made From A Playing Card

Here's a space-saving alternative to recharging your AA or AAA batteries that doesn't involve any soldering skills.
This solar-powered battery charger can be made using a
playing card, small solar cells (called solettes), copper tape, small
magnets and some super glue. You can even add a Schottky diode to keep the batteries from discharging overnight, and an indicator LED to let you know if it's working.
