'Mohawk Man' Involved In Mars Landing Becomes Instant Internet Favourite

In case you didn't notice, NASA successfully touched down on
Mars yesterday. It's a pretty big deal in terms of space expeditions, but one
person who's really making waves on the net is this mohawk-haired, star-dyed flight director named Bobak Ferdowsi.
Ferdowsi works inside the Spaceflight Operations Facility for
NASA's Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity rover at Jet Propulsion
Laboratory. He was the hero
of Twitter during the Mars Curiosity landing.
Obviously, it helps to have a wacky hairstyle when you're surrounded by blue polo shirts and newscaster dad hair. There's even a Tumblr page called “F*ck Yeah, Bobek Ferdowsi” which popped up overnight and has been curating the best of Bobek fandom.
