To think people would have learned their lesson from the movie. Don't build a theme park with live dinosaurs, because it's probably not going to end well. Clive Palmer isn't giving a hoot. He's the billionaire that is reportedly trying to clone a dinosaur so he can put it on his new Palmer Resort in Coolum, Australia.
According to Sunshine Coast Daily, a source close to Palmer revealed that “he has been in deep discussion with the people who successfully cloned Dolly the sheep to bring his dinosaur vision to life.”
Plans for his resort are also said to include “20-story sky needle and a giant, London Eye-style ferris wheel.”
There's no official word coming from Palmer, but according to another source close to Palmer, the rumors of a Jurassic Park style amusement park is “absolutely ridiculous,” as the Brisbane Times reports. But Palmer does have a reputation for eccentric investments. He’s building a functional replica of the Titanic.
Would he be able to do it even if it were true? What do you think? And would you go?
