Watch A Bunch Of Disney Characters Dance For Kim Jong Un (Video)

Don't worry kids, North Korea hasn't invaded Disneyland (yet). These are actually members of a North Korean band called Moranbang, which happen to be founded by the country's young leader, Kim Jong Un. They recently performed this bizarre number which was aired on state TV. The whole thing is just surreal:
The footage leak has some wondering why Disney imagery was used in the high-profile performance, especially since none of the characters origins were disclosed nor any Disney songs were used. It's as if North Korea choreographed the whole thing just to mess with the West.
The Walt Disney Company has also made it clear that it did not authorize the use of its characters for the North Korean concert, but we doubt they'd be willing to risk a full blown war just for a bunch of mascots.
First-time screenwriter Dennis Lazar sent out a tweet that got him the chance to see his idea turned into a 15-second film. The contest launched last month when Heineken and agency Wieden+Kennedy New York asked people on Twitter to come up with something creative to win a change at a #15secondpremiere at Tribeca Film Festival.
