Fans of Left 4 Dead are in for a real treat. In an effort to rescue Detroit, Marc Siwak has come up with a plan to transform the abandoned areas into a zombie-apocalypse theme park:
According to MSN, Z World would offer participants the opportunity to escape swarms of zombies in
“abandoned factories, stores and homes across hundreds of derelict urban
acres” found in Detroit.
“The Z World Detroit initiative is a radical rethinking of urban
redevelopment and Detroit’s well-documented blight and de-population,”
Siwak says in his fundraising proposal on crowdfunding site Indiegogo. The ultimate goal of this unique attraction would be to revive Detroit's fledgling economy.
Unfortunately, Siwak still needs to raise about $145,000 to make this happen. And with only 36 days left, it looks like his idea may not be able to rise from the dead.
