More than 60,000 tweets were fired off about the White House Correspondent's Dinner, and it was referred to as "#nerdprom" by attendees and viewers.

Comedian and television host Jimmy Kimmel took jabs at the dinner, at New Jersey Governor Chris Christie' weight, and many more. His opening monologue generated 701 tweets per minute.

“No matter what side of the fence you’re on, you have to admit [Michelle Obama] has done a lot of good work, she just wants us to be healthy, really is all,” said Kimmel. Mrs. Obama, I thank you for that. Look, it’s Chris Christie, get him!”

“Gov. Christie, I think you might be misunderstanding New Jersey’s slogan,” quipped Kimmel. “It’s not the Olive Garden state.”

President Obama was second only to Jimmy, who made jokes about Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin, racking up some 686 tweets per minute.
