Man Survives Getting Nailed In The Heart (Graphic Image)

Here's a closeup of what a 4-inch nail in the heart looks like. And yes, his heart is still beating!
According to Reuters, 52-year-old Dennis Hennis from New Jersey accidentally shot himself in the heart while trying to un-jam a nail gun. The nail gun fired at 120 pounds per square inch, puncturing his right ventricle and sending him into cardiac arrest.
Luckily for Dennis, his son was working with him at the time and managed to call an ambulance. Given that the nail was jammed in his chest, performing CPR was a little too tricky to attempt. He's expected to make a full recovery.
We're not sure if the chimpanzee can really understand this scientist or not, but it turns out that he may just be able to communicate with it via chimp language. It's one of those things you really need to watch to believe. Read more
