New iPad Owners Having Trouble Charging Their New iPads
Mar 21, 2012 15:26
The internet is reporting that the new iPad's battery isn't charging when its pushed to its hardware limit. There are multiple threads on the official Apple forums and at MacRumors talking about the issue. The iPad just isn't charging with its 10W charger, its also not charging in some supposedly supported USB 2.0 ports.
Could it be caused by the giant battery Apple put in the new iPad? Since its 70 percent larger, it probably needs better charging units instead. As one MacRumors commenter notes: "The Air uses a charger that is 4 times larger for a battery of near equal size."
