Color, can actually influece your car's mileage. A study from Berkeley Lab Environmental Energy Technologies division say that by choosing the right color, you can save over 1.1% on your fuel.
Colors reflect back more of the sunlight hitting the car, and light colors soak up less heat and require less air conditioner power to keep the interior cool. White and Silver are the most reflective and coolest colors but researchers are saying that there are "dark cool colors" that reflect well in the infrared range where heat is most concentrated.
