Council officials in the UK have seized supplies of the "Baby Gaga" ice cream made from breast milk over serious health concerns which include viruses such hepatitis being passed on through the milk.
The novelty flavor had been a hit among customers; the 'Baby Gaga' ice cream
was reportedly sold out as soon as it launched, and women were said to be signing up to donate their own breast milk!
Matt O'Conner, the founder of Icecreamists who introduced the novelty flavour, said he was unaware of any laws prohibiting the sale of breast milk ice cream. He also said that the milk had been screened in line with blood donor requirements.
