Compared to those with more aggressive attitudes, nice guys are found to earn an average of $1,500 less than what their counterparts are earning.

And this was after taking into account other factors such as education, occupation, work experience and training.

It could be because "nice guys" are too passive in what they do that, well, they almost have no say because they're way too conscientious and thoughtful to rebuke what their authoroties have to do. Whereas the more aggressive are more likely to voice out opinions and push their way through to success.

Whatever it is, we say if you want to pay off your bills this month, then it's goodbye, Mr. Nice Guy.
