Brad Pitt has decided to call more attention to himself - by proclaiming he favours the legalization of marijuana, gay marriage, and wants religion to back off from making public policy.
The actor is especially against the protests coming from the religious community in general, and Christianity in particular.
During an interview with Bill Maher, Pitt said the following directed towards Christians:
"To all three who are watching, I just saw you have to, you really have to check what country you're living in because the freedom that allows you to practice religion is the same freedom you're stepping on. That's not right....And I want to add... if there was a nation of gay married couples that were telling you you couldn't practice your religion, I'd be speaking up for you, too.... So, let's stop the nonsense."
Next step for Pitt: Becoming the Mayor of New Orleans? or perhaps the Governor of Louisiana?
