Granted it really hasn’t been the year for rooftop terraces and outdoor drinking, but as the world adjusts to the “new normal” we must all look to get back to doing what we love! As the temperature begins to drop a little from the peak of a scorching Nevada summer, we look to see where’s best to get out and spend time in the fresh air.

Outdoor drinking is in high demand in The City of Lights. While many bars remain closed, things are balanced on a knife edge and at any moment it could be al fresco courtyards, rooftop clubs and luxury patios. As such, we thought it best to inform our readers about our favorite rooftop spots in Las Vegas and what they can expect to find at these locations. So without further adieu, let’s take a look at the 5 best outdoor drinking spots in Las Vegas.

Located downtown among the hustle and bustle of it all and near the distinguished Cosmopolitan sportsbook. It can be very difficult to get a table, so we’d strongly advise booking ahead to ensure you get the extra room your group needs. Carson Kitchen is a huge space, and has even added some tables recently, offering an upstairs and rooftop patio to patrons who want to see the city in all its glory, as they sip cocktails. The venue is in the capable hands of celebrity chef Kerry Simon’s brother Scott Simon, offering a wide range of dishes and serving up some of the best drinks in town. The location and aesthetics of the place ensure customers keep returning, year after year.

Beer Park

Beer Park is one of the most popular outdoor venues in the city, featuring loads of extra entertainment like pool, ping pong and giant Jenga. With unrivalled views of the Bellagio fountains, it’s a real draw to one-time visitors. Beer Park is called that for a reason, with a selection of over 100 beers available to punters, including craft beers as well as international favorites. But, if beer’s not your thing, they have a Las Vegas style range of cocktails, wines and mixers to enjoy.

Located in the heart of Summerlin, Public School 702 is the go to bar in the West Valley. The venue offers luxurious rooftop seating as well as some excellent dining options in its restaurant. Public School 702 offers refuge to those who are enjoying the shopping found in Downtown Summerlin. The theme of the venue is what makes it really stand out, offering a schoolhouse theme, with modern touches throughout - including menus that look like notebooks! Beers are available in bottles, cans or straight from the pump. Public School also makes an effort to combat climate change, by providing it’s own personalized metal straws.

Spritz

Located inside the Ventian, Las Vegas, Spritz is one of the best bars for just lounging about by the pool and enjoying your favorite drinks. The Venetian recently underwent some renovations, meaning the new rooftop deck that has stunning views of the city is the perfect chillout spot. Kitted out with new infinity pools and a brand new menu, offering some of the best food in the city, the Spritz really is one of the most popular bars around. We have to mention the deserts on the menu too, they are to die for!

Foundation Room

Finally we go to the Fountain Room, which sits on the 63rd floor of Mandalay Bay, offering the most breathtaking views of the Strip. Originally designed as an exclusive members only private club, the Foundation Room is now fully accessible to the public. The cocktail program is extensive and exclusive, offering some of the most dazzling infusions found in the city. The menu isn’t bad either, which can be enjoyed from the modern, romantic setting found at the Foundation Room. The atmosphere is perfect for evening drinks or fine dining - be sure to check this place out if you’re passing through Vegas!
