Did Tim Skyes take lessons from Jordan Belfort? He was just a senior in high school in 1999 when he received a gift of $12,415 for his bar mitzvah. He then used that money to trade penny stocks. Now he's rich.
His $12,415 grew to $100,000 by the end of high school.
By the time he was a freshman in college, he had made $700,000. He made his first million at 21 while vacationing on a cruise ship with his family.
He didn't do it by luck. He studied day and night, sacrificed nights out with friends and more.
Skyes is now 34 and has made $4.3 million in stock winnings and has $15 million in cash in the bank.
