The former creative director for Yves Saint Laurent has reportedly been chosen as the new head designer for the Italian men's wear company, meaning he will be responsible for the brand’s fashion show as well as the illustrious Ermenegildo Zegna Couture collection.

Milan-born Pilati has also worked in senior design and fabric development positions for a number of Italian design houses including Miu Miu, Prada and Giorgio Armani. Based on that alone, there's no doubt that Zegna can count on him to bolster their brand.
