JYJ’s Kim Junsu has not been to Taiwan in over a year, and coincidentally his concert clashes with the Golden Melody Awards. However, all 3,600 tickets to “XIA 1st Asia Tour in Taiwan” were sold out, which proves his extreme popularity. During the press conference, Kim Junsu said “Xie Xie” (Thank you in Mandarin) to express his happiness. He also tasted several famous Taiwanese snacks which were prepared by the organizers.
The organizers dished up Chicken chop, Xiao Long Bao, Pineapple cakes, Chinese Rice Dumplings and fruits for Kim Junsu to taste. He said, “I already had a cup of bubbletea in the hotel and watermelon.” Looking at the table of delicacies, he happily used Mandarin and said, “Xiao Long Bao”, which caused the media to smile. He devoured the delicacies and posed for pictures with the Chinese rice dumpling in accordance with the Duan Wu festival in Taiwan.
The other two members of JYJ, Kim Jaejung and Park Yuchun have expanded and crossed over to the drama department while Kim Junsu has dazzled in musicals.
