Professional Poker Player Sued By Ex-Husband Over Massive Luxury Shoe Collection
It's hard to believe that one woman's massive shoe collection can become a major issue in divorce, but that's what the New York Post is reporting.
Meet Beth Shak, a professional poker player and self-proclaimed "shoe addict". Shak is being sued by her ex-husband Daniel Shak, a former high-powered hedge fund manager at SHK Asset who lost a ton of money in the gold market.
According to Daniel, his wife failed to report her 1,200 pairs of designer shoes during their divorce proceedings, and claims that he didn't know about the shoes until two years after the couple split. He estimates that his ex-wife's shoe collection (which includes 700 pairs of Louboutins) is worth about $1 million. And now he thinks he's entitled to at least 35%.
While it seems typical for a guy to be completely oblivious to a woman's amazing shoes, Beth still can't believe that he's taking her to court over it. She tells the Post:
