Looks like the ladies aren't the only ones now who get to enjoy lighting scented candles every now and then. The Harlan Kent of the Yankee Candle company is battling it out for men’s equality by releasing a new collection of men’s scented candles. “Candles create warmth, relaxation, and good memories, and guys want that, too,” says CEO Harlan Kent.

Of course, the main goal is to profit from the already booming $3.1 billion U.S. scented candle industry. Yankee researchers also found that men represent 35% of candle users, so it makes sense to develop manly scents.

Shown above is their new limited-edition collection which boasts four manly-sounding fragrances: Man Town, First Down, Riding Mower, and 2 X 4. For those wondering what they smell like, here's a description via Business Week:
Man Town smells, we’re told, like a “man cave”; First Down like leather; Riding Mower like cut grass; and 2 X 4 like sawdust, according to descriptions on Yankee’s website.

Kent promises that Man Town will smell less like the old-pizza-and-sweat type of man cave and more like “the modern man cave, for men who wear deodorant. It smells like a men’s cologne.” The scent is described as a “masculine blend of spices, woods, and musk.”
Yankee says they've only scratched the surface of the men’s candle industry, and are currently in the midst of developing a bacon-scented candle.
