Yes, this is an actual entry in the Guinness Book of World Records. And it now belongs to a group of online friends was able to band together to set a world record for most comments on a Facebook post.

So how did they do it? The effort started on October 30, 2011, with an innocuous post on a FrontierVille fan group‘s Facebook page. The group of just over a hundred people decided they would comment on the post, over and over again to reach their dreams of being in the World Record Books. Fast forward a few months and with 1,001,619 comments (and counting), the group hit their mark, blowing past the previous record of 529,335. That meant each user had to post close to 9,500 times on average. Some people just have too much free time on their hands...
