Beyoncé Voted People’s First Black ‘Most Beautiful Woman’ in 9 Years

Congratulations to new mom Beyonce for making the way to the top of People magazine's annual beautiful people issue (out on stands this Friday). But are you all that surprised?
The 30-year-old superstar tells the publication, "I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth." Well, being able to afford a team of beauty specialist to make it look like you never gave birth in the first-place probably helps too.
As People editor Janet Mock notes, it's the "first time in 9 years that a black woman lands this coveted cover." Hopefully it won't be another nine years before another woman of color is considered worthy of People's love.
