Controversy Over Limited Edition Tattooed Barbie By Tokidoki

Barbie is the queen of preteen fashion. Over the years she has seen countless makeovers, but nothing quite like this:
This edgy-looking Barbie doll is the result of a collaboration between Mattel and artist Tokidoki. Tokidoki Barbie comes with tattoos, a black top with the Tokidoki logo of heart and cross bones, pink mini-dress and leopard skin leggings, all topped off by a head of pink doll hair and a cutesy pet. Other goodies from the limited Tokidoki Barbie collection includes tops, hoodies, jewelry, totes, and of course skateboard decks.
But not everyone is loving Barbie's new look, especially uptight parents who are concerned about the kind of message it sends. But what they don't realise is that this isn't the first time Barbie has been inked; she's gone under the needle at least twice - once in 1999 (Butterfly Art Barbie) and again in 2009 (Totally Stylin' Tattoos Barbie).
