Looks like these three might not be leaving the show after all. Despite series creator Ryan Murphy confirming multiple times that the show's upcoming seniors will have to go soon, executive producer Brad Falchuk shot his comments down by sharing this statement during an appearance at Comic-Con:
"Here's the exact thing: [Rachel, Kurt and Finn] are seniors, so they're graduating," he told the audience (via TV Line), "but because they're graduating doesn't mean they're leaving the show. If you have Lea Michele under contract, you don't say, 'We're gonna let you go.'"
And to think we were this close to never having to right another article about Lea Michelle ever again...
