Kraft and Intel are working on something really fascinating. A vending machine that will be able to make the decision of food buying for you.
According to Donal King, Kraft's Vice President of Retail Experience, the average shopper "has a paltry 10 recipes in his or her average meal-time rotation: spaghetti, pizza, hamburgers, chicken, etc.". The reason behind the partnership with Intel is to help them decide.
The Kraft kiosk is equipped with an Anonymous Video Analytics camera that will zoom into a buyer's face and determine if it is male or female, and the age group. The information will help the kiosk decide what the buyer might be hungry for.
