Kids Can Navigate Smartphones, But Struggle To Tie Their Own Shoes!

Children might be more tech savvy than ever, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they're better off in life. According to a recent study conducted by AVG, 19% of 2-5 year-olds could play with a smart phone app, but only 9% of those same children could tie their shoes. Yikes! And it seems that being unable to dress themselves isn't the only issue here:
"Tech skills are outpacing life skills in other areas as well. For example, more of the kids can open a Web browser than swim on their own, and more can play computer games than ride a bike."
Perhaps they could introduce more apps that help tie your shoes for you and or simulated the joy of swimming or bike-riding... that would solve all our problems, right?
