Like most girls her age, Charlotte Garside loves Barbie dolls, cuddly toys and all things pink. However, as she's tinier than most of her toys, it's clear this remarkable two-year-old really is one of a kind.
Charlotte weighs just 7lb 8oz and is 58cm tall - making her officially the world's smallest girl.
When she was born at a mere 1lb 1oz, her parents had to dress her in dolls' clothes because even premature babywear was too big. Now aged almost three, Charlotte still has to wear newborn baby dresses.
Carlotte has been diagnosed with a combination of MOPD type 1 and 3. This rare form of primordial dwarfism that has delayed her growth and development. Although doctors cannot predict how long she will survive, for now her health seems good.
