Single Ladies Only: Customised Rooms At India's Imperial Hotel

One of the most beautiful hotels in Asia recently launched brand new 12-room wing specifically for ladies travelling solo to India.
The hotel has boosted security measures for those rooms and equipped them with special feminine touches like manicure sets, cosmetics, flowers and women's-sized bathrobes, and outfitted the spaces with lots of pink. Even the staff servicing the rooms, from room service delivery to butlers, are all female. Added security measures include extra CCTV cameras in the hallways and outside each room, and in-room check-in.
General Manager Vijay Wanchoo elaborated on this landmark initiative as:
"When a woman chooses to stay at a five-star hotel, she is opting for a safe, reliable and comfortable home away from home,"
"Most check in to one that has good connectivity and is in a safe and friendly environment, more so if they are new to the city. That's when travelling around becomes a sensitive issue."
Prices for Eliza rooms are approximately $US280 per night, which is similar to other rooms of the same category.
