Blogger to Sue Google over Liskula Cohen Blog Fuss

Remember the story where model Liskula Cohen got all lawsuit-mad about some blogger calling her a "skank"? Well, she managed to get Google to reveal the blogger's identity, who she claims, "defamed" her.
Now that blogger is planning to sue Google for $18 million for actually revealing her identity.
Rosemary Port was sued by Cohen after Google was forced to reveal her identity. Port ran a blog on Google's blogger.com, and refered to Cohen as a "skank" and "old hag" and other things that Cohen couldn't seem to live with.
Port had initially defended her actions in court, saying blogs "serve as a modern-day forum for conveying personal opinions, including invective and ranting," and shoudn't be considered a factual assertion - but the claim was rejected by the judge.
"This has become a public spectacle and a circus that is not my doing," Port said. "By going to the press, she defamed herself."
Now, the 29-year-old fashion student from New York says Google didn't do enough to protect her privacy: "When I was being defended by attorneys for Google, I thought my right to privacy was being protected. But that right fell through the cracks. WIthout any warning, I was put on a silver platter for the press to attack me."
"I would think that a multi-billion dollar conglomerate would protect the rights of all its users," she said, adding other things complaining about Google. Such dramma.

What's more, to influence it to work - and keep it a sound, useful and sexual, you need to invest effort, responsibility and well, get somewhat innovative. Read more
