According to the latest figures, says The Sun, getting hitched before you reach the age of 30 means you are more likely to end up separated.

Figures showed men and women who wed under 30 get divorced sooner than those of any other age group. Celebrity examples: Angelina Jolie, Billie Piper, Julia Roberts, and Peaches Geldof.

The Sun spoke to a divorced couple who married at the age of 23 and split 5 years later. After dating for four years, Abigail Rampling proposed to Charlie Davis (not pictured).

The couple were head over heels for each other, and deeply in love. However, only a year into their marriage and they already grew cold. Abigail says she suffered from depression, while Charlie lost his job. They constantly argued about money and "eventually stopped communicating."

One morning, Abigail packed her bags and walked out. She merely said, "I'm leaving", while Charlie didn't argue or beg her to stay.

The result: Abigail looks back and doesn't regret a thing, but Charlie was left heartbroken, and doesn't plan to get married again.
